Online GLP-1 Offers: Verify the Prescriber, Pharmacy, and Product

Consumer explainer | GLP-1 Medications
An online medication price is only one part of evaluating a provider. Identify who prescribes the treatment, which pharmacy dispenses it, and exactly which product is being offered before supplying health information or making a payment.
FDA's online-pharmacy guidance recommends checking pharmacy licensing through official state resources. A website's appearance or an advertisement's assurance is not an independent license check.
Our suggested questions cover consultations, follow-up contact, dispensing arrangements, the medicine's name, and what happens if a shipment or label raises concerns. Obtain the answers from the provider and verify the license with the appropriate board.
FDA also warns that unapproved compounded GLP-1 products do not undergo the same approval review as approved drugs. Do not assume that a claimed similarity means interchangeability. Discuss the actual product with a licensed clinician. This article supplies consumer questions, not an endorsement of any provider or medicine.
